Project Details


The ANC Welcome Hub is an ongoing adaptive-reuse project involving the redevelopment of the former Pius X Rectory in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Delivered for the Association for New Canadians (ANC), the project is transforming an existing institutional building into a dedicated hub for settlement, integration, and community support services.

The work involves significant interior renovations and building upgrades to accommodate client service areas, training and meeting spaces, staff offices, and associated support functions. The project prioritizes accessibility, functionality, and durability.

Allied providing design-build services and self-performing select scopes of work. Allied’s role includes coordination of consultants and trades, schedule and cost management, and on-site supervision to safely deliver the project within an active and constrained existing-building environment.

The ANC Welcome Hub will serve as a central resource for newcomers to Newfoundland and Labrador and reflects Allied’s experience delivering community-focused adaptive-reuse projects through collaborative and practical construction solutions.
