The property at 60 Eastland Drive is a 230,000 sq.ft. cannabis production facility located in St. John’s, NL. Constructed in 2019, this state-of-the-art facility has the capacity to produce 18,000 kg of high-quality cannabis per year. Health Canada cultivation license was obtained October 2020.
The building consists of 81,000 sq.ft. of grow space, 16,000 sq.ft. of processing operations, 11,500 sq.ft. of storage & fulfillment, and 30,400 sq.ft. of supporting operation (Laboratory, Wash Bays, Irrigation Plant, Destruction, Maintenance Shops, Offices/Staff Lounge, Locker Rooms, and Retail Space). The building sits on a 12 Acre site, which includes 25,000 sq.ft. footprint for future expansion, and 306 parking stalls.
Security features include a 6’ high chain link fence, with motion detection, card readers throughout, individual keypad & motion detection at production rooms, and over 440 cameras.
The facility has cutting edge mechanical, irrigation, and controls systems, spread out over 53,000 sq.ft. 3,600 tonnes of cooling, 26,000 BTU of heating, and 170,000L irrigation capacity, all controlled by fully integrated automation systems.
Electrical Service consists of Two (2) 4000 amp 347/600 volt metered service entrances and Two (2) 1600 kw / 2000 kva 347/600 volt Kohler generators. Lighting includes LED light fixtures throughout and 1000W high pressure sodium lights for growing.
