View ProjectsBob Lynch is a seasoned construction professional with over 30 years of experience in estimating and project management across Canada. He began his academic journey at Memorial University (1987–1988) before graduating with a diploma in Architectural Engineering Technology from Cabot College of Applied Arts and Technology in 1993.
Bob launched his career on Canada’s west coast with Thornley Consulting Group Inc., where he worked from 1994 to 1998. Starting as a Quantity Surveyor, he was responsible for preparing construction budgets at all stages of design—schematic, design development, and tender—for a wide range of public and private sector projects including commercial, residential, educational, and healthcare facilities across British Columbia.
From 1998 to 2002, Bob worked in Vancouver as an Estimator with Vanbots Construction Inc., one of the country’s largest general contractors at the time. There, he prepared competitive tenders for major lump sum and construction management projects, gaining invaluable experience with large-scale construction operations.
In June 2002, the “lure of the rock” brought Bob and his wife back to Newfoundland and Labrador to raise their family. He joined Allied Construction Management in October of that year as an Estimator and Project Manager. Since then, he has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from $500,000 renovations to $25 million institutional and infrastructure builds. His diverse portfolio includes residential towers, healthcare facilities, a sports arena, and a water treatment plant.
Bob is a registered Professional Technologist with AETTNL and holds Gold Seal Certification from the Canadian Construction Association. He currently serves as Vice-Chair on the Board of the Merit Contractors Association of Newfoundland and Labrador.
In addition to his professional work, Bob is an active and committed volunteer in his community. He has served as a volunteer firefighter with the Goulds Fire Station for the past 10 years and has been coaching minor hockey for the past 5 years—demonstrating the same dedication and leadership off the job site as he does on it.
