Brad has been a key member of Allied Construction Management ULC since 1996 and was appointed President in March 2026. With over three decades at Allied, Brad has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth, leading the estimating and management of a wide range of complex construction projects—many valued between $25 million and $50 million. His thoughtful leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence have helped deliver some of Allied’s most successful projects and continue to guide the company’s strategic direction.

Brad earned his degree in Civil Engineering from Memorial University in 1988 and became a registered Professional Engineer in 1990. He began his career with Memorial University’s Department of University Works before joining N.D. Dobbin Limited in 1993, where he worked until joining Allied in 1996.

Brad’s roots in construction run deep. Even before attending university, he spent summers during junior high and high school working with his family’s company, City Builders Ltd., gaining hands-on experience on projects throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, including Northern Labrador.

Beyond his professional work, Brad has generously given his time to a range of industry organizations. He served 11 years on the Board of the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association (NLCA), holding key roles including Chair of the General Contractors Section, Chair of the Standard Practices Committee, and Association Board Chair from 2012 to 2013. At the national level, Brad served eight years on the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) Board, most recently as Chair of the Standard Practices Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee. He was also appointed to the Steering Committee for the Institute for Building Information Modeling in Canada (IBC) and served terms on the boards of both the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Safety Association (NLCSA) and the St. John’s Curling Association.

Brad was also an active member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Bonspiel Association, serving as President from 2021 to 2022 after being a dedicated committee member since 2008.

In his spare time, Brad enjoys working on building projects at home and at his family cabin. Whether it is fine woodworking or constructing new additions, he finds satisfaction in creating with his hands—a passion that has remained with him throughout his life.
