View ProjectsMatt is a graduate of the Architectural Engineering Technology program at the College of the North Atlantic, completing his diploma in 2022. He joined Allied Construction Management that same year and currently works as a Project Coordinator, contributing to a variety of large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments.
His project experience includes the One Churchill Park development—a 69-unit luxury apartment building with six stories, main-level retail, and two levels of underground parking. He has also coordinated the fit-up of new office spaces in both new builds and existing buildings, and is currently supporting the redevelopment of the former Costco building into a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.
Before joining Allied, Matt worked with Avalon Home Works alongside his father, gaining early experience in residential construction and developing a strong foundation in the trades. He later spent time building engines, where he honed his mechanical aptitude and attention to detail—skills that continue to support his technical mindset in the construction industry.
In his role as Project Coordinator, Matt is particularly confident in quality control, drawing review, subtrade coordination, and supporting daily on-site operations. He frequently handles site-driven RFIs and plays a key role in maintaining smooth communication between site staff, consultants, and subcontractors. Matt is proficient in a range of software platforms, including Revit, AutoCAD, Procore, Microsoft Project, and Excel—tools he uses to support project scheduling, documentation, and technical coordination.
Matt’s interest in construction began early while working alongside his father in the trades. That experience gave him a strong foundation and a deep respect for hands-on work, but he was always drawn to the organizational and leadership side of the industry, which led him to pursue a career in project management.
Away from work, Matt enjoys golfing, hiking, and traveling. Whether exploring new trails or teeing off with friends, he values time spent outdoors and discovering new places.
