Steve joined Allied Construction Management in 2018 as Safety Advisor, and has six years’ experience acting in such capacity in the construction industry. In 2004, Steve received his Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Memorial University and in 2010 completed his Safety Engineering Technology Diploma at the College of the North Atlantic. Steve also obtained his Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation in 2016.

Steve provides strategic advice to Allied Construction in order to help ensure the safety of its workers and contractors for numerous projects. He stays current with legislative requirements by continuing to attend safety education courses and keeping in-tune with the changing legislative landscape.

Prior to joining Allied Construction, Steve provided training in the areas of fall protection, OHS Committees, and Power Line Hazards. He frequently advised construction industry leaders with regards to legislative safety requirements and completed hazard analyses, incident investigations, audits (COR and otherwise), worksite inspections, site specific safety plans, and developed policies and procedures.

Steve is active in the St. John’s Senior Men’s Baseball Association and has been since 1995 and frequently volunteers his time with the St. John’s Minor Baseball Association (Winter Ball Program).  Steve has also played baseball at the national level, having been part of the St. John’s Senior Capitals baseball team since 1999.
