Allied started its first industrial project in 1998, and since then has completed nearly $72 million worth of work in that market. Industrial construction is very specialized. It takes a skilled team working closely together to complete the job successfully.
Over the years we have built or upgraded all of the water treatment facilities that serve the City of St. John’s, Mount Pearl, Paradise, Conception Bay South and Portugal Cove- St. Philip’s. These facilities bring the highest quality of water service to the metro area, together pumping nearly 170,000 cubic meters of water per day.
We continue to be at the forefront in competitive pricing and quality workmanship in regards to industrial projects. Recently we completed the Galway Booster Pump Station. This state of the art facility will serve a 2,400 acre development consisting of residential neighborhoods, light industrial/mixed use office space and retail areas.
Our expertise in industrial construction isn’t limited to just water treatment. Between 2006 and 2008 we completed $10 million worth of work renovating the North Atlantic Fisheries Centre. This included construction of Environmental Rooms, Necropsy Labs, Aquatic Research Facility, & P16 Labs.
